We made it over the line for the six short story sampler stretch goal, leaving us a mere $900 to hit the last stretch goal in the next :looking at clock: five hours. Easy as pie! No problem at all, I'm sure. More importantly (and realistically): I can afford Backerkit at this point, so we'll be using it for fulfillment and whatnot. Expect your surveys and digital rewards for TALES OF THE FERMI RESOLUTION to come via it.
It's been a fun and educational trip, this Kickstarter. Thank you all for signing up for it. And we've still got the morning to hit the next goal! Hey: Always Be Closing.

It is the final stretch. And final stretches get a final tier!
$100: Name a character in TINSEL RAIN! Limit: 2.
TINSEL RAIN is my being-written sequel to FROZEN DREAMS, and I can add *you* to the action. Name of your choice (I reserve the right to veto objectionable, obscene, and troll names), some details about personality, appearance, and what not. It won't be a main character, but you'll get at least a scene out of it and my best stab at something cool to say. Note: you'll get the other awards by the listed deadlines, but TINSEL RAIN is NOT scheduled to be published by May 2021.
Tell your friends! Heck, tell your rivals if they're honorable ones. And thanks for backing! I can't wait to get you folks the book.

We've got two stretch goals left to hit - less than $200 to reach them! - and a week to reach them in. Also, if we hit $1200 I should definitely be able to afford Backerkit at that point. Past that, there's a new stretch goal!
- $2,000: REVISIONARY! Four tales of Mythos horror, to chill the blood and explain the mysteries! Read from SIMMONS' BOOK, and discover the true nature of forbidden tomes! Find out what POLLY WANT, and wish you had not! Dance around the WICKED WHY, but don't stare too closely at it! And sample IMPURITIES - but do not drink too deep! Illustrations by Ben Fleuter.
This chapbook is scheduled to be published in the next two months on Kindle Unlimited. If we hit this stretch goal I'll make it fully available in electronic form, and provide a version in .mobi, .epub, and .pdf to everyone who backs at the $10 QUEST level and above. It'll also become an add-on for what will be by then the inevitable Backerkit!

I thought it'd take at least a few days. I'm really happy to see there's an interest in this world, and obviously it's going to be my job to make sure it gets the best stories I can write. In the meantime, let's talk about the first set of stretch goals.
$600: The second short story sampler. Much like the last time, if we hit this goal I will do an additional sampler of short stories, set in the Fermi Resolution universe. At this level there will be three stories, with at least one being original and not available anywhere else. The sampler will not be available for resale, but will probably form the core of the next short story collection.
$900: The short story sampler count will be increased to four.
$1000: The short story sampler count will be increased to five.
$1100: The short story sampler count will be increased to six.
